April 2023 marked a significant milestone for Tungaloy when it merged with NTK in North America, expanding its product portfolio and capabilities. Now Tungaloy-NTK America, the company is positioned as a leader in comprehensive material solutions, moving beyond its reputation for turning cutting tools.
“Our philosophy, aligned with our parent company IMC Group, is to present ourselves as a powerhouse organization. The merger with NTK significantly strengthens our product portfolio, enabling us to deliver unparalleled material solutions,” Lisa Penzick, manager – marketing operations for Tungaloy-NTK America, says. “We are no longer just a turning company; we offer exceptional milling, drilling and comprehensive tooling solutions.”
Visitors to the Tungaloy-NTK booth are experiencing firsthand the enhanced product offerings, including a full range of solutions for various industries in two distinct areas within its booth, dedicated to the Tungaloy and NTK brands, respectively. A combined display pod is showcasing the synergistic strength of their merged product lines, emphasizing tools for miniature parts and Swiss tooling.

The company’s new tagline, “Full Material Solutions,” is prominently displayed, underscoring the company’s commitment to providing cutting-edge solutions for all major industries.
“We want the market to recognize our expanded capabilities. With the addition of NTK’s expertise, our product offerings are nearly unbeatable. We are excited to demonstrate this at IMTS 2024,” adds Penzick.
