As more shops continue to rely on streamlined multi-axis cutting for single-setup machining, Mastercam 2021 offers new techniques and strategies for pocketing, 3+2 roughing and five-axis machining. A new Lathe Custom Thread tool path supports custom thread forms and expands the support for modeling chucks and chuck jaws. Other features are designed to improve speed, safety and precision of NC programming.
These are only a few of the new features and enhancements that beta testers will explore in Mastercam 2021.
