Metalworking and metal fabrication machine manufacturer MC Machinery recently launched its podcast to cover timely topics in fabricating, machining and manufacturing in general. This monthly podcast is available on major podcast platforms, including Apple Podcasts and Google Podcasts.
The show launched with its first two episodes. The first episode features Joe Gibbs Racing Technical Sponsorship and Marketing director Mark Bringle, who gives a behind-the-scenes look at the manufacturing processes that have propelled NASCAR drivers including Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch, Marvin Truex Jr. and Erik Jones to victory.
The second episode features Lasernut President Cody Waggoner, who shares how he started and grew Lasernut into a major laser shop for the automotive industry in Southern California. Waggoner also talks about Lasernut Racing, the team for which he competes in off-road vehicle “rock crawling” events, and how he built a 3,200-square-foot container house named Laser Town on 10 acres in the Mojave Desert.
Future episodes will include MC Machinery Press Brake product manager David Bray and Wilson Tool product manager Steve Brown discussing how to select the right press brake tooling, and Staub Manufacturing co-founder and president Steve Staub discussing manufacturing automation with MC Machinery automation specialist Jason LeGrand.
“Minds on Manufacturing will cover interesting and informative topics with engaging guests that appeal to manufacturers in industries including automotive, aerospace, job shop, mold & die and medical,” says Bill Isaac, MC Machinery vice president of Sales and Marketing.
