The ATOS Triple Scan 12M is part of Capture 3D’s ATOS series of 3D scanners that use non-contact structured Blue LED technology. Featuring high-quality optics, the scanner is designed for high-resolution scanning, accurate measurements and comprehensive inspection analysis with virtual 3D color maps. A single volumetric scan contains 12 million data points and takes only seconds, the company says. The Triple Scan Blue Light functionality is said to improve the line of sight, minimize the number of scans needed to measure an entire object, and improve the scanning of shiny or dark-colored surfaces. The scanner can measure small to very large objects with intricate feature detail and is well-suited for 3D scanning and inspection applications, Capture 3D says.
