The VG5000 five-axis machining center is said to offer stability and accuracy when machining difficult materials such as titanium and stainless and tool steels. Its large cross-roller guideways and cast-iron body offer good damping characteristics, according to the company. The machine features a 50-taper spindle that provides 12,000-rpm and 40 hp. Its XYZ travels are 29.92" × 35.43 × 24.02". The machine offers 360 degrees of C-axis rotation and A-axis rotation from -120 to +30 degrees. It also has a standard two-station, direct-turn pallet changer and 60-tool ATC.
