Multidec Back Tool toolholders from GenSwiss enable turning operations to be performed on the subspindle and from an ID tool position on Swiss-type machines. Each holder is center-height adjustable to ±0.20", which is said to be critical for machines without a Y axis. The modular toolholder system features a variety of shanks, spacers and insert modules to suit a variety of machines. The system enables the use of Mutlidec ISO, Top and Cuto 1600 and 3000 series inserts for Swiss-type machining applications.
Toolholders also can be equipped with a Cool-Flex MBK adaptor to provide a coolant delivery system to optimize insert lubrication and cooling and increase cutting tool life.
