Chemetall’s Tech Cool 35052CF Generation V high-performance, semi-synthetic metalworking coolant is designed to combine the high-lubricity characteristics required for aerospace and medical-device alloys with green chemistry technologies. According to the company, this combination results in stable emulsion, increased sump life with no odors, low foam levels, increased corrosion resistance and lower operational costs. Chlorinated and sulfur-based EP additives are not added, nor are bactericides, DCHA or secondary amines. It is also said to be completely free of formaldehyde-releasing compounds.
 
The coolant is suitable challenging materials such as titanium, high-nickel alloys and stainless steels, and it is fully compatible with aluminum and brass in addition to ferrous substrates. It can be used with both central systems and stand-alone models for a variety of metalworking operations, ranging from grinding to broaching, milling and drilling.
 

The coolant is designed to reject tramp oils, allow for effective coolant recycling programs, generate drier chips that are easier to separate and reduce residues on both the parts and the tooling.
