Certified Comparator Products, a division of Quality Vision International, presents the VidiProbe, designed to transform a traditional comparator into an automated video measurement system by configuring a digital video camera inside the comparator’s optical system. VidiProbe presents the comparator screen image on a video monitor, enabling automatic measurement of a variety of features including surfaces. In addition to supporting automation, the system’s digital zoom provides higher magnification of small features such as those found on manufactured parts, without the need for extra lenses.
VidiProbe is a hybrid system which can be used either as a shop-hardened, traditional comparator, or as an automatic vision system.
