Koma Precision introduces Alberti Linea P high-power, adjustable angle heads with a new design and improved capacity. The TCU-8 and TCU-10 models can be adjusted ±105 degrees with a digital display of the angle. They also feature internal coolant capability. The line features a high-performance, double-torque version.
Despite their size, these heads can reach faster speeds while maintaining consistent temperatures, the company says. The angle head spindles with arbor are constructed of one solid piece of hardened steel said to increase resistance to bending stress by 25 percent and enable faster speeds without vibrations, improving precision. Angular contact bearings ensure the concentricity and stability required to achieve higher performance.
