System 3R Workholding Lineup Provides Stable, Repeatable Clamping

System 3R’s self-centering vises and accessories come mounted on pallets or reference elements and, according to the company, provide high cutting performance; centering and repeat accuracy; high clamping and holding force; stable, durable, one-piece construction; optimum accessibility; centric spindle bearing and clamping; and easy cleaning.
System 3R’s vises are available on Dynafix pallets, Marco Magnum reference elements and Macro reference elements. The centering vises are mounted with a symmetry accuracy of 0.02 mm to the reference cross of the pallet, respective to the reference elements. The basic configuration of the vises is without clamping inserts respective clamping jaws. Users can choose between grip inserts, grip jaws for raw parts clamping and inserts jaws for second- or third-side operations.
The centering vise lineup includes:
- Dynafix, 3R-778-CV: A centering vise on Dynafix pallet. It features a vise length of 280 mm, jaw width of 125 mm, clamping length of 186/246 mm, clamping force of 50,000 N and weighs 22.8 kg.
- MacroMagnum, 3R-688-CV: A centering vise on MacroMagnum reference element. It feature a vise length of 160 mm, jaw width of 60 mm, clamping length of 49/93 mm, clamping force of 30,000 N and weights 6.8 kg.
- Macro, 3R-658-CV: A centering vise on Macro reference element. It features a vise length of 80 mm, jaw width 36 mm, clamping length of 30/78 mm, clamping force of 16,000 N and weighs 0.9 kg.
