Ohio Laser’s mobile Tapping Table XL is designed for use with a tapping arm and features an all-welded steel construction for heavy-duty industrial and manufacturing environments. With a moveable tapping and assembly area that can be moved throughout a facility, the table is said to complement flexible cell manufacturing by reducing setup time and material handling. The table can be placed next to a laser or plasma cutting machine, turret press, mill, or drill to reduce material handling, and can be used in place of a CNC for tapping operations.
The table offers a large work surface measuring 39" × 47" and stands 36" high. A fixed bottom shelf with a raised lip edge on three sides provides storage, while a debris chute enables easy cleanup and removal of shavings with a formed-down bottom lip. The durable black-powder coat finish enables the table to withstand harsh work environments. It is equipped with two swivel and two rigid phenolic wheel casters, each with a 2,000-lbs capacity. A tapping arm, vise and waste can are available as options.
