Kurt will feature its expanded DoveLock five-axis workholding line which includes two new models. The DTR20 and DTR10 feature a reversible jaw, providing an additional option to clamp smaller items with a smaller dovetail.
The dovetail vise line provides as much as 4,000 lbs of precision clamping force, enabling the machine to hold parts without distorting the workpiece while also providing access to five sides of the workpiece. The dovetail holding feature requires 1/8" of material height to hold the part and eliminates the need for machined jaws in workpiece preparation. All vises are manufactured from a high quality 4140 steel.
The exhibit will also include an expanded small machine table workholding lineup ranging in size from a 5" to a 15.5" length vise. Models are available in single station, double station, and self-centering styles to provide a holding solution for a wide variety of part configurations and density. Manual and hydraulic options are available to suit the requirements from short to high volume production. Clamping force for the line ranges from 1,800 lbs of force to 12,600 lbs.
