Brooks Associates (Norwell, Massachusetts), a machine tool distributor, is partnering with Emuge Corp. (Boylston, Massachusetts) as Emuge expands its West Boylston Technology Center into a full service center for manufacturing, grinding, training and process development. The facility will use Hurco machine tools for tool demonstrations and training, and both Hurco and Brooks will use the facility as a resource for customer training and process improvement.
“We are very excited about our partnership with Hurco [and] Brooks and our expanded Technology Center in [West] Boylston,” says Bob Hellinger, Emuge president. “Our goal is to offer Emuge customers complete tooling solutions including advanced cutting tool geometries along with three- and five-axis programming support.” He adds, “Emuge engineers can walk a customer through the proper cutting tool selection and then assist in helping them dial in the correct operating parameters with our in-house machinery.”
