Sumitomo Electric Carbide's MESI chipbreaker for ground positive inserts is designed to improve custoemr productivity and cost per part for precision machining applications. Intended for depths of cut ranging from 0.078" to 0.236", the chipbreaker is available in several grades for exotic materials and stainless steels. The chipbreaker is suitable for small tool turning and applications include medical instruments, implants, valves, screws and pins.
