The project database facilitates scanning project collaboration. This addition seamlessly stores project information and a step-by-step history of each scanning project, the company says. Users can return to any step in a scanning database wherever they are in the process. To reduce extraneous data points, they can also select which details to display on a given project. Scene 5.0 also supports the ASTM E57 industry standard, a manufacturer-independent, binary data exchange format that enables import and export of 3D scanning data regardless of the specific product used to capture it.
