Capable of automating as many as two lathes or milling machines, Fastems’ RoboCell One is designed for workpieces weighing up to 176 lbs (80 kg) within batches of different sizes. The robot cell is available with an automated gripper change system for flexible handling of workpieces and simple implementation of new components without interrupting production operations. The robot can be fitted with up to six single, double or special grippers.
A single robot can be operated in one linear axis and supply two machines to make different products. To handle two machines, the robot automatically changes its grippers for loading/unloading both. The result is optimal use of machine capacity when orders are frequently altered. The RoboCell One can also incorporate additional processes such as measuring or marking systems.
