KeyedIn Solutions’ enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, KeyedIn Manufacturing (KIM) 6.0, is designed to enable machine shops and captive job shops to fulfill orders more quickly with lower production costs and improved profit margins. KIM helps custom and make-to-order manufacturers automate their quote-to-cash business processes. The new version delivers key performance improvements for the shop floor along with improved handling of work orders, invoices and other documents. KIM 6.0 is also said to include richer and deeper integration with QuickBooks Online for faster, more accurate financial reconciliation.
KIM’s customizable workflow makes it easier to capture or copy documents, such as packing slips or invoices, at any point in the sales, production or invoicing process. Version 6.0 offers AR and AP aging reports for any user-selected date as well as a new production accounting report and posting process. New functionality simplifies the creation and modification of sales orders, and closed work orders can now be reopened as needed.
