Optomec will feature production-grade additive manufacturing systems, including its hybrid CNC machine that combines the company’s laser-engineered net shaping (LENS) technology for 3D-printed metals with subtractive milling technology in a single machine tool.
The company offers LENS technology as a modular print engine which can be integrated with other metalworking platforms such as CNC mills, lathes, robots, custom gantries or table system. This open-system approach enables users to deploy metal additive manufacturing technology to meet application-specific requirements.
