Capable of accommodating barstock reaching 32 mm in diameter, the A32VII Swiss-type lathe features a rapid traverse rate of 45 m/min as well as the company’s custom Streamline control for high speed processing. The machine was designed with special consideration for thermal displacement to enable accurate machining, the company says.  Another model, the A20VII, is equipped with an additional axis on the back spindle to allow front/back simultaneous machining. Combined with a 32 m/min feed rate, this feature reduces cycle times, the company says. The company also offers accessories such as CAV integrated bar feed systems, Cool Blaster multi-port, high-pressure coolant systems; and Cool Blaster Mist Control 850 mist and smoke control systems.
