Sandvik Coromant’s CB7125 and CB7135 grades are designed for medium to heavy interrupted cuts, removing the hardened layer at a maximum depth of 2 mm in case- and induction-hardened steel components typical for the automotive industry. According to the company, the grades provide longer, more consistent tool life as well as a quality surface finish and consistent dimensional tolerances.
