Blaser Swisslube, based in Hasle-Rüegsau, Switzerland, is celebrating 80 years manufacturing lubricant. The family-run company began in 1936 making water-repelling shoe polish for Swiss farmers; now it develops lubrication products for metal cutting and grinding. The company is currently run by the grandson of the founder, with subsidiaries in the United States, Europe and Asia employing a total of 600 employees.
