Mazak Optonics Hires National Sales Manager

Mazak Optonics Corp. (Elgin, Illinois) has hired Adam Smelewski as National Sales Manager in charge of sales growth in light of growing interest in direct diode technology and the introduction of the Optiplex 3015 DDL. Mr. Semlewski’s role will be to oversee development and management of the company’s sales team and distribution network.
“As Mazak Optonics continues to grow, [Mr. Smelewski’s] many years of fabrication experience will further strengthen our expanding core of laser professionals,” says Al Bohlen, President.
Mr.Smelewski has five years of sales management experience with laser manufacturers. He also worked for 10 years at Haeger, a manufacturer of hardware insertion machines, as a Regional Sales Manager, Distribution Manager and ultimately North American Sales Manager.
