Southwestern Industries will introduce two advanced CNC software packages: Verify and Parasolid Converter. Both software packages will be exhibited with Southwestern Industries’ line of CNC bed mills, CNC lathes and the LPM machining center.
Verify is available as part of the advanced feature option set for TRAK lathes and mills with ProtoTRAK SLX and SMX controls respectively. The program enables machinists to quickly and easily proof ProtoTRAK programs prior to cutting chips, reducing programming time, unnecessary scrap and rework, the company says.
Parasolid Converter is available for bed mills, knee mills, and retrofits with ProtoTRAK SMX controls. The program makes it easy for machinists to generate ProtoTRAK programs from Parasolid 3D CAD files, reducing programming time.
