Toyoda says its small, economical FH400J is designed with a 15,000-rpm spindle and is well-suited for high speed applications. The HMC鈥檚 work area measures 23.6" 脳 22" 脳 24.8" in the X, Y and Z axes, with a table load capacity of 880 lbs. A compact footprint makes the machine ideal for job shops and companies with limited floor space, the company says. The tool magazine can accommodate as many as 40 tools with a 2.4 sec. chip-to-chip change time.
