Available from and on display in the booth of Custer Industrial Sales, Lockwood’s ProStream nozzles feature a metal tip to handle the abuse of airborne metal chips and machining debris, providing longer-lasting durability over the company’s traditional Loc-Line nozzles. These nozzles are available in two lengths (0.5" and 1.25") and four tip diameters (0.062", 0.086", 0.117" and 0.160"). The tubular design of the nozzle tip creates a very consistent and focused spray pattern that is said to remain stable with varying hose volumes and pressures, making it ideal for precise machining applications. The adjustable nozzles swing and rotate for accurate coolant and air stream placement. Each has a 360-degree tip rotation and a 72- or 85-degree swing, depending on the size.
The ProStream nozzle kit combines the nozzle with the ¼" Loc-Line hose, element clamps and fittings. The kit is said to enable increased hose pressure while reducing dynamic motion and movement caused by machine vibrations.
