TMX Workholding, an operating business unit of Toolmex Industrial Solutions, offers large custom chucks in addition to its standard workholding products that include manual, collet and power chucks. The company’s Engineer Solutions line works with customers and end users to design workholding solutions for their part geometries and throughput requirements. For example, TMX produced a 71" manual chuck for a large welding positioner used in the oil and gas industry. The four-jaw, heavy-duty chuck was designed to hold blowout prevention valves during the cladding process.
