Fiber Laser Reduces Cost during Standby

MC Machinery Systems will display its lines of fiber lasers and press brakes, including the NXF-4000 fiber laser offering 4 kW of power, which the company says is nearly double the wattage of its 2012 predecessor. The two-dimensional fiber laser processing system features a fiber laser resonator, Mitsubishi 700 series control, Z-axis linear drive, preset autofocus, multi-chamber dust-collection mechanism and a safety cover. A head position camera enables the operator to make head adjustments, even if the workpiece is far away. The machine also features an Eco mode, said to reduce cost during standby by as much as 70 percent.
Also on display will be the company’s eX CO2 laser with 6 kW of power; Diamond Elite XL series DEXL 200-40 and DEXL 60-2 press brakes; BB 5031-FF press brake; and Diamond BH series BG250-40 hybrid press brake.
