The company offers a rotary union that is designed like the Ott-Jakob type GD rotary union, with permanently sealed surfaces and an integrated sensor that monitors leakage. The rotary union, equipped with this leakage sensor and the company鈥檚 analog position monitoring sensor, offers constant clamping system control and prevents damage to clamping systems or spindles, the company says. Key specifications include maximum speeds of 36,000 rpm; 80-bar maximum coolant pressure; 10-bar cleaning air maximum; 5-bar maximum air pressure after confirmation; and filter porosity of less than 50.
