Supertec Machinery Inc.’s G25P complex cam grinding machines come in three between center distances: G25P-50CAM (10" × 20"), G25P-75CAM (10" × 30") and G25P-100CAM (10" × 40").
The PC-based Bosch Rexroth control with Delta software is specifically designed for cam and nonround grinding applications, providing flexible grinding solutions. The wheelhead utilizes a Babbit bearing spindle for maximum performance and part surface finish, while the Bosch Rexroth linear motor delivers superior accuracy and repeatability. The workhead is supported by an NN bearing-type spindle with an MT3 center taper that enables for a maximum of 220 lbs between centers.
A variety of options including but not limited to the following are offered: touch probe, automatic sizing device, dynamic wheel balancer and various automatic loading/unloading systems.
Additionally, Supertec Machinery’s compact twin-spindle ID/OD grinder, EGM-80CNC, which features a 7' × 6' foot print, is designed for machine shops with limited floor space in mind. With a work envelope of 9" diameter by 3" length, it is well suited for small work pieces. The universal workhead incorporates an A2-4 spindle nose and a hydraulic three-jaw chuck with a swivel range of approximately +45 degrees ~ -10 degrees, making the workhead a versatile grinder for any ID or OD grinding applications.
