Star CNC introduces its SR-32JII Type B Swiss-type automatic lathe. The modular design with slanted guideway is said to increase rigidity and improve accuracy for stable production. The machine’s eight-station backworking unit with Y axis is designed to provide flexibility in overlapping machining requirements, and the rigid construction is said to enable continuous, accurate machining over extended periods of time. The lathe is designed to work with or without guide bushing for added flexibility.
Also showcased will be the SV-20R Swiss-type automatic lathe, with improved functions including a B axis for multiple tools, an eight-station tool block for overlapping of back and two-tool turning, which is said to reduce production time and improve accuracies. With its tooling variety, rigid construction and flexibility, it is designed to produce complex parts in a single operation.
