Omax will display its 80X JetMachining Center, designed to quickly and accurately cut a range of materials and thicknesses for large-scale components and multi-part projects. The system can handle materials ranging from metals to advanced composites to non-tempered glass. The waterjet machine features the company's 100-hp EnduroMax pump speeding part processing with 60,000 psi continuous operation, lowering operating costs, and prolonging operating life.
The optional Tilt-A-Jet’s advanced automated taper compensation achieves virtually zero taper for precision cutting of parts with square, taper-free edges, including interlocking pieces and dovetail fittings, all while maintaining high cutting rates, the company says. With the water-resistant rotary axis head for complex three-dimensional parts production, the machine’s capabilities expand to cut in as many as six axes.
Omax will also display its Maxiem 1530 JetMachining Center as a cost-efficient waterjet machine for fabrication shops, metal service centers, trade schools and job shops.
