Lovejoy Tool Co.’s MaxCut 651 cutters feature a new chip gullet design and 0.250"-thick inserts for continuous heavy-duty work. The cutter bodies include an insert-adjusting station to enable faster, more accurate insert positioning for greater cutting efficiency, and 16 cutting edges help to increase production. The cutters are available in diameters of 3" and larger.
Said to provide high metal removal rates, the inserts feature a 45-degree lead angle for free cutting, providing easier part entry and improved corner strength. The inserts are available in medium-pitch configurations for general machining as well as fine-pitch for short chip materials such as cast iron.
