The Cyclone CXD drill from M.A. Ford enables high-performance drilling in materials ranging from 4140 steel to titanium. The drill features an Altima Plus multilayer AlTiN coating, lower thrust-point geometry, an enhanced double-margin design and updated surface finish technology pre- and post-coating. Coolant-through tools are available in 3×D length with diameters ranging from 3 to 16 mm diameters, or 5×D length with diameters ranging from 3 to 20 mm. Solid carbide tools are offered in 3×D length with diameters ranging from 3 to 20 mm, or 5×D length with diameters ranging from 3 to 15 mm.
