Murata Machinery’s compact MW50GT turning machine features twin-spindle and twin-gantry automation. It is designed to increase productivity and accuracy while reducing cycle time.
The automated CNC turning center targets parts that are 50 × 50 mm (2" × 2"), and features two horizontal spindles and two four-station tool blocks. Its twin three-axis CNC gantry loader is designed for quicker loading and unloading at stocker systems, conveyors, post-process gages and post-process systems. Compared with single-spindle machines, the MW50GT’s compact design also saves space in production setup.
