Schneeberger offers a tap grinding machine designed for high rigidity with a polymer concrete base and all-linear motor technology. The machine features two high-horsepower grinding motors for complete manufacturing in one setup. It is capable of inline dressing the fluting wheel as well as the profile-grinding wheel. According to the company, any desired helix is possible with left and right hand cutting taps ranging from 0.4" to 2.5" in diameter and measuring as long as 12". The machine accommodates grinding wheels ranging to 20". It is equipped with FANUC’s loading technology and 31i control.
