Featuring a positioning accuracy of ±0.001" over the entire 26" of travel, the machine has a footprint of 57" × 55" and a height of 92". The waterjet is equipped with the Tilt-A-Jet system, which can achieve virtually zero taper. When the system is in use, the software automatically calculates and offsets the natural taper that results from the abrasive jet. The taper is moved from the part to the scrap, leaving parts with square edges.
The tank and slats are manufactured from stainless steel, and the machine is equipped with Intelli-Max cutting enhancement software. Other features include a solids removal system; a 600-lb. abrasive delivery system; a 60 kBtu chiller; mounting points for EDM-style tooling; an industrial water-resistant keyboard and mouse; and a precision optical locator for picking up secondary locations.
